Cat and Dog Theology was kind enough to give a box of curriculum to our organization for distributing to a homeschool family in need. Out of 34 applicants, only 11 of them qualified for the gift (it was the K-2 version of curriculum that was donated and we didn't say upfront so that we could definitely find the right family to give this to).
Of those 11 applicants, our leadership team voted to decide the final recipient. In her application, this mother stated:
"My husband got laid off and we had to move in with his mother. He has just started working again but we have many bills to catch up on. On top of regular bills, my daughter has medical needs and we travel over an hour for doctor appt and procedures regularly. Homeschool is a necessity for us and getting a Christian based curriculum is important."
